Watering the Real… Not the Artificial

In the reel I shared earlier, I spoke about the way we treat flowers.
We naturally water real flowers because they are alive.
They grow.
They bloom.
They bring beauty into our world.
However, we never think of watering artificial flowers, do we?
They may look pretty, but they don’t grow, they don’t change, and no matter how much water you give them, they remain the same.
This is exactly how life works. We sometimes pour our time, energy, and emotions into artificial people and ideas; those that are not genuine, not nourishing, and not capable of growth.
We keep investing.
Hoping for change.
But just like artificial flowers, they cannot bloom.
On the other hand, when we invest in what’s real.
Authentic people.
Meaningful relationships.
Ideas that truly inspire us.
We witness growth, fulfillment, and a sense of connection.
Who and what are you watering in your life?
Who in your life represents the “natural flowers” that bring growth and authenticity?
What situations or relationships might be the “artificial flowers” that consume your energy without giving back?
How do you decide where to invest your time, emotions, and attention?
What would change in your life if you redirected your energy fully toward what’s real and life-giving?
How can you start noticing the difference between “artificial” and “natural” in your daily choices?
At the end of the day, our energy is like water, precious and limited.
Remember: The garden of your life will only flourish when you choose to water what’s truly alive.
THINK ABOUT IT…
I couldn’t agree more! So much around us is temporary or even surface-level, but the deeper connections and genuine relationships that we have, are what carries us forward and lift us the most!
